The Town of Garner's SmartGov Permit and Inspection Portal is now live! Use the portal to submit permit applications, pay development fees, view staff comments on electronic plan review, and request inspections from the Planning, Engineering, and Inspections departments. Please submit all new permit applications through the portal; we will no longer accept paper applications or plan sets. Submittals and re-submittals are now being accepted on a rolling basis.

The Town of Garner uses Point & Pay, a third-party vendor, to accept online payment of development fees. Point & Pay assesses a convenience fee for all payments made by credit/debit cards or electronic checks. This fee is paid to Point & Pay, not the Town. Fees are 3% for credit/debit cards (minimum $2) or a flat fee of $3.00 for E-checks.
